Owners of Bistro 218 and Bocca Ristorante, Birmingham native and professionally trained chef Tom Saab and wife, Christina Saab are opening their third Birmingham location.
Coming to the original Sloan's Liniment building at 2308 2nd Avenue North, scheduled to open in August, Sloan's is just steps from their second concept, Italian restaurant Bocca Ristorante. Their first restaurant was Bistro 218 also located in downtown Birmingham. The new concept will pour upscale spirits and wines paired with appetizing eats from the cold kitchen.
I first learned the news on my birthday while dining at Bocca. And I have kept it quiet until Sloan's liquor license was approved. I will keep you updated as the opening draws near.
