Executive Chef Shannon Gober

Shannon Gober is a native of Birmingham and a graduate of Chelsea High School. He worked as a dishwasher for Milo's Hambugers while finishing high school. After attending the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, he moved back to Birmingham working with Outback Steakhouse as a server and trainer. 

From there Gober moved into management with Bravo Italian Kitchen in Columbus, Ohio and opened several of their locations as general manager, including two locations in New Orleans, Louisiana. While in New Orleans, Gober became part owner of Zea Rotisserie and Brewery and still owns it today. 

He and his wife Shana decided to start their very own restaurant company so they moved to Birmingham and bought John's Restaurant in 2004.
