Ted’s Restaurant has been a Southside Birmingham favorite for just about, well… forever.
With the original “Ted’s Cafeteria Restaurant” sign still intact, and the clock frozen in time at 3:22 (and 11:03), the restaurant beckons us to a time of meat ‘n’ three goodness.
Tasos and Beba Touloupis bought the restaurant from Mr. Ted and Mrs. Litsa in 2000. And they are working to continue serving fresh Southern favorites, with exceptional customer service, to a loyal lunchtime crowd.
Ted's Restaurant has recently remodeled Ted’s interior with fresh paint, quality woodwork, and new lighting in order to update and preserve this little piece of Birmingham history.
